Easy Newsletter step by step configuration
For the initial setup of Easy Newsletter, you can read our step-by-step instructions.
Settings: Easy Newsletter Settings
You can find the settings in the WordPress dashboard under “Easy Newsletter” and then “Settings”.
- Sender email address
Email address from which your newsletter will be sent. - Sender email name
Name displayed to subscribers when they receive the newsletter. - Reply to e-mail address
E-mail address to which replies to the newsletter will be sent. - Maximum emails sent per interval
How many mails should be sent simultaneously? Default value is 60, but can be customized. - Interval in seconds
How long should an interval between two email sending campaigns last? The default value is 300. - Anmeldeformular-Felder

Displays the name of the newsletter that is currently being sent. - Currently active newsletter ID
Displays the ID of the newsletter that is currently being sent. - Selected mode
You can choose between “default” and “user” here. In “default” mode, a separate list for your newsletter recipients is used in the backend. In “user” mode, the plugin uses the default WordPress user list for newsletter recipients. - transmission is in progress
Is active when a newsletter is sent. - Default activation message ID
ID of the newsletter post that is sent by default when a new recipient registers. The default value is determined and set during installation. Can be customized. - Default unsubscribe message ID
ID of the newsletter post that is sent by default when a recipient unsubscribes. The default value is determined and set during installation. Can be customized. - Default Welcome Message ID
ID of the newsletter post that is sent by default when a new recipient has successfully registered/activated. The default value is determined and set during installation. Can be customized. - Available subscribers category
Recipient categories can be added here, which can be used to restrict the sending of the newsletter. - Available Subscriber Roles
Recipient roles can be added here, which can be used to restrict the sending of the newsletter. - Custom newsletter CSS
Here you can add custom CSS. The CSS that you insert here will then automatically apply to all newsletters. - Roll key from new subscribers
Define the role key of new subscribers. Default is en_user subscriber. This is used in “user” mode for a new user role in the default WordPress user list. - Registration, Page ID
ID of the page which contains the content of the registration page. . The default value is determined and set during installation. Can be customized. - Registration successful, page-ID
ID of the page that is shown to the user when they are successfully registered. The default value is determined and set during installation. Can be customized. - Confirmation successful, page-ID
ID of the page shown to the user when they are successfully verified. The default value is determined and set during installation. Can be customized. - Confirmation rejected, page-ID
ID of the page that is displayed to the user when the confirmation is rejected. The default value is determined and set during installation. Can be customized. - Logged out, page-id
ID of the page that is displayed to the user when they want to unsubscribe from the newsletter. The default value is determined and set during installation. Can be customized. - unsubscribedConfirmedPageID
ID of the page displayed to the user after successfully unsubscribing from the newsletter. The default value is determined and set during installation. Can be customized. - Registration Form, page-ID
ID of the page containing the registration form. The default value is determined and set during installation. Can be customized. - unsubscribeFormPageID
ID of the page containing the unsubscribe form. The default value is determined and set during installation. Can be customized. - lastSendNewsletterID

ID of the last edited newsletter - “Stop sending newsletters” button
Press the button to stop sending the newsletter. - File Upload
Lade hier bestehenden Kontakte als CSV Datei hoch . Damit der Import deiner Kontakte funktioniert, benötigt deine CSV Datei die folgenden Spalten. Dabei ist es wichtig, dass die Spalten in der nachfolgenden Reihenfolge angelegt sind: Salutation, Gender, First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Email-Address und nachfolgende Spalten: Ggf. individuelle Felder.- Choose File – Select the file you want to upload.
- Import CSV – Click on the button to upload the file.
All Newsletter
You can find the newsletters in the WordPress dashboard under Easy Newsletter and then “All Newsletter”.
- “Create” button
Click on the button to create a new newsletter - Default – Welcome
Welcome email which is sent once people have successfully subscribed to the newsletter. Text and content can be freely adapted. - Default – Unsubscribed
Unsubscribe E-mail which is sent as soon as people unsubscribe from the newsletter. Text and content can be chosen freely. The unsubscribe link should not be modified. - Default – Activation
Subscribe E-mail that is sent as soon as someone subscribes to the newsletter. Text and content can be chosen freely. Sign-up link should not be changed.
Single page newsletter
You can find the newsletter single page in the WordPress dashboard under Easy Newsletter “All Newsletter” and then you can click on the “Create” button.
- Button “Send newsletter”
Click on the “Send newsletter” button to send the newsletter. A pop-up will open showing how many recipients the newsletter will be sent to. If you are sure that you want to send the newsletter, confirm the sending by clicking on “Yes”. If something is still inconsistent, you can cancel the delivery with “No”. - Button “Send Test Mail”
Send a test email to the test email address you provided. - Save draft
Save your newsletter as a draft. - Preview
Get a preview of your newsletter. The preview corresponds exactly to the code that is also used in the e-mails when sending out the newsletter. - Button “publish”
Saves your newsletter. It can then be found via the frontend.
Newsletter Single Page Sidebar: Newsletter Settings
You can find the newsletter settings in the sidebar of your editor under “Newsletter settings” on the individual pages of the newsletter.
- Subject
You can enter the subject line for your newsletter here. - Newsletter Excerpt
Write a preview text for your newsletter. - Test E-Mail Address
Set the e-mail address to which the test newsletter should be sent.
Newsletter single page: extended. Settings
Further newsletter settings such as custom MetaFields conditions, newsletter attachments and custom HTML injections are located at the bottom of the newsletter single page.

Pages
In the WordPress dashboard under “Pages” you will find seven created pages that are required for the plugin. The content on each page is in English by default, but can be translated and customized using the editor.

Adjust the registration form for your newsletter here. Copy the shortcode and paste it on the desired pages on your website. The registration form will then be displayed there.
