Easy vCard

In the WordPress dashboard you can create new vCards under “Easy vCard” and view the overview of your vCards.

• Button “Add New vCard”
  You can create a new vCard using the button.
• Image
  Use the edit pencil to add an image and either select it from the media library or upload it as a new file.
• First Name
  Click the plus button to add the first name of the person. A field will open in which you can enter the first name. Confirm the first name via the checkmark or revise the settings via the X.
• Last Name
  Click the plus button to add the person’s last name. A field will open in which you can enter the last name. Confirm the last name via the checkmark or revise the settings via the X.
• Work Title
  Click the plus button to add the working title of the person. A field will open in which you can enter the working title. Confirm your entry with the checkmark or revise it with the X.
• Organization
  Click the plus button to add the organization (company). A field will open in which you can enter the organization. Confirm your entry with the checkmark or revise it with the X.
• Phone Mobile
  Click on the plus button to add a cell phone number. A field will open in which you can enter the phone number. Confirm your entry with the checkmark or revise it with the X.
• Phone Work
  Press the plus button to add the work number. A field will open in which you can enter the work number. Confirm your entry with the checkmark or revise it with the X.
• E-Mail
  Click the plus button to add the email address. A field will open in which you can enter the e-mail address. Confirm your entry with the checkmark or revise it with the X.
• Website
  Click on the plus to add the website. A field will open where you can enter the website domain. Confirm your entry with the checkmark or revise it with the X.
• Location Name
  Here you can select the location if there are several. The locations should be defined beforehand via the WordPress dashboard “Easy vCard” and then “Locations”. Adding locations is explained in the next section.
• Slug
  Here you can customize the slug of each person. When a vCard is created, a slug is automatically generated.
• vCard Link
  Displays the link for the respective person.
• vCard QR-Code
  Displays the QR code for the respective person.

Locations

In the WordPress dashboard you can create different locations under Easy vCard “Locations”. You can then select these in the overview of your created vCards.

• Button “Add New Location”
  You can add a new location (office or company location) using the button. When you click the button, a new line will be added.
• Location Name
  Click on the plus and enter the name of your place in the field. Confirm your entry with the checkmark or revise your entry with the X.
• Street
  Click on the plus and enter the street of your place in the field. Confirm your entry with the checkmark or revise your entry with the X.
• Street no.
  Click on the plus and enter the street number of your city in the field. Confirm your entry with the checkmark or revise your entry with the X.
• City
  Click on the plus and enter the city in the field. Confirm your entry with the checkmark or revise your entry with the X.
• Postal Code
  Click on the plus and enter the postal code of your city in the field. Confirm your entry with the checkmark or revise your entry with the X.

Settings

You can find the settings for Easy vCard in the WordPress dashboard under “Easy vCard” and then “Settings”.

• domainLinkEnabled
  If you would like to make your vCard link available via another domain or subdomain, you must check this checkbox.
• domain
  Enter the domain of your website here where the vCards should be found. e.g. https://qr.example.com
• htaccessContent
  Here you can see content for the htaccess file. If you saved, the field will be updated. Copy the contents into an htaccess file and upload it to the URL specified under “domain”. The vCard link and QR code now lead to this domain and are automatically redirected to the correct vCard.
• Button “Save”
  Click the button to save your changes.
